Today I got a voice mail from an automated caller identifying himself as Officer Steve Parker from the IRS. Seems there is a tax fraud against me and I need to call this dude back ASAP or I will be arrested.
i just got a call this morning stating it was someone from the IRS and i needed to call immediately so my case "wouldn't go to court and before you end up behind bars." relief to see other people saing it's a SCAM!
Received call from this number and let it go to voicemail. Automated voice says this is a "final notice from the IRS" and to call them back immediately before the case goes to Federal court or I get arrested. Lots of telemarketer calls this week and now this.
They called us... and what's funny is we know how much money we owe the IRS. He threw out a random number, and then asked for 10,000 dollars to make the calls stop. LMAO I've been trolling the number since.
All that you will accomplish, is that you receive even more calls from them, as well as other scammers. In future, you will complian about the increase in spam calls. Good going.
Received a call from a Chris Williams (foreigner) claiming that I owed money to the IRS. He said they would garnish my checking account and I could go to jail if I didn't pay.
