It's another one of those "Government Grant" phone scams. Think they're calling from Sri Lanka or something like that. I get them 3 - 4 times a week, never from the same area code (which I think they have a way of making it APPEAR they are calling from the States. Got one today. I played along for the longest time (my evil twin did it!!!), acted surprised and excited about it - the more I got excited, the more HE got excited!!! I didn't give out any information, as I told him if you know all this and that about me, SURELY you have all the information you need. Ultimately I told him I knew where he lived and if he didn't take my number off his calling list I was going to have him arrested..........CLICK!!! Give them NO information....none. Either hang up or report the number.
This number is a scam number---they offered me $7500 in school grants from the US government. First I already have my grants in order, second, when does the government call YOU to GIVE away money---This is not a credible offer!!!
