I just got a call from this phone number "pretending" to be from the Windows technical department. It was some Indian man asking me to check my Windows computer because there was stuff that was going to hurt my computer on it. I played along, and pretended to do as he asked, meanwhile asking him how he got my phone number, what his name was, where he was located. He said that he received my phone number because I use my phone on the same server that my computer is connected to. I then asked him what other numbers he has on record for me, to which he replied he will have to check my file and tell me tomorrow...big red flag, ha ha. So then I played along even more, and finally I said "This is obviously a scam, you should be ashamed of yourself." To which he replied, "Ma'am if this is a scam, I could hack in to your computer without me even calling you." Obviously they can't because why even call me? Then I pestered him more, and finally he said "F*** off," and hung up the phone. Long story short, don't answer random numbers. But it was fun toying with him. :P
