Claimed to be from General Electric, claimed that I had a security system of theirs (which I don't - but I played along for a little bit, since I didn't feel comfortable telling a stranger that I don't have a security system). She had a thick accent (possibly Spanish, not Indian) and it was hard to understand her; plus there was a lot of call center noise in the background. Claimed they weren't trying to sell me anything, that they wanted to put new features to the security system. Once she "verified" that I had had their system for at least 3 years, she transferred me to her manager. I told this new person to not call me ever again, and hung up.
