Have been getting calls from this number for the past week. I know I am behind on a credit card payment, could be them. The call rings once, hangs up, calls back, hangs up and calls back again. Every time I try to answer the call there is no one there.
It's one of the many "local" numbers Credit One Bank uses to get you to pick up.
I am behind due to a medical problem (unable to work and no short term disability) I have spoken to all my creditors and everyone else is working with me and understanding when I tell them I will pay as soon as I get back to work EXCEPT these people. They have told me to pay them instead of using what little income I have left to buy food & pay electric etc - they have said I should ask my family to pay for me and the list goes on and on. I can not stand talking to them anymore...each time is the same and all I want to do is cry after I "talk" with them.
