I too got same email and I found the website but phone number is in Philly the fax number is near Gettsyburg then I decided to search they're address they have posted and it's a townhouse in Philly. I received a 2nd email stating I would have to have a seperate bank account as their clients would pay me directly then I'd have to transfer funds...red flags everywhere. There should be laws against this crap! It's disgusting!

Got the same email!! The same story....I've been looking for work and was excited to see a response, but I did my research and found this information. Too bad this is so easy to pull off! I guess the one thing we all did right was research this and realize it was too good to be true! What a shame that this person is willing to prey on someone that is just trying to find a decent job!!
I got the same email, same story as everyone else! She originally contacted me 10/31;I was SO excited! I did reply back to the email to see what would happen. I was a little skeptical, but I bit just a little and then she emailed me again on 11/2; Here is what it said:

And my apologies for the delay: it resulted from the infamous Sandy hurricane, which managed to affect part of PA as well. Our web servers were unavailable for a couple of days, but now, when the communications have been restored, everyhting is up and running.
I'm sending you our standard employment package including the actual Employment Agreement, Bank Account Form and Regulations plus a 2012 W-4 issued by IRS. As soon as the new year begins, I will supply you with a 2013 W-4 for the proper income tax deductions.
You would need to open a separate bank account (or use an existing one) for handling customer payments, as you will be selling our design services directly to local customers, who will be paying you on behalf of the company. Regarding the tax issue: you will be paying taxes from your personal income, not from all incoming payments. The company usually provides copies of all contracts the customers have signed and all invoices verifying the payments are for Elite Designs, not for you personally. This is typical for the company and the outsourcing industry in general, as when you are working as a freelancer, you have to be your own manager, accountant and specialist.
Now, once again, Regional Sales Manager is a permanent position, and though the contract is officially given for 1 year, it's automatically prolonged every year, unless you or us would like to terminate it. There are 2 work hours options: full-time and part-time. For full-time, which is 9am to 5pm your time, we pay $3,150 per month (before taxes). For part-time, which is 9am to 1pm your time, we pay $1,575 per month (before taxes). Paychecks are issued every 2 weeks since the start date. Also, as for 401k and health insurance plans, remote employees become eligible for all of it after the first 6 months of work.
What I need you to do is to read the documents, ask me questions (if any), then print and sign them, and finally forward your signed employment paperwork to me. We accept it only by email (simply attach the documents to your reply to this message), and by fax (our fax number is (717) 724-3005). As soon as I get your documents, I will set you up for the job, provide you with the training materials and grant you the access to our web server, where you will be communicating with other team members and get your tasks.

Well, I had TONS of questions, and I emailed her back 3 times, and I've called 2x the past 2 days...no answer, no reply...then I found this site, so I'm starting to feel like an idiot! lol
