Go out to a toy or sporting goods store and buy a really good, loud whistle. When these [***] call, treat them as you would treat an obscene phone call and just BLOW LOUD AND LONG. Do this each and every time they call and I wonder just how many times they'll continue to call.
I've received calls from weird numbers before and never answered...no voicemail left ever. I answered for first time today and they asked for "__________ Michaels". Told them they had wrong number. She was very nice and said "ok, sorry to bother you." Let's see if they call again. I have no debt in collections so I knoow this is not for me.
They cant get me to answer with their 800 number, so now they're trying me from this 215-320-0424.. I tore up my charge cards and paid them off over 7 years ago. Now they start calling again after years of no collection calls? Hubby passed away last year and now I'm getting the calls.. I owe nothing and they can try all they want, but after 7 years it shouldnt be on my credit record. I doubt they even know what they're trying to collect for. Send me a bill and itemize it, maybe I'll listen then, but I'll never pay a collection agency, only an original creditor.
