I Need help i was working with this settlement company .. and they promised me they were going to settle my debts and that my intrest would stop .... now this alex guy started calling me saying i needed to pay him and that the intrest was still going up ... well i didnt listen to him and i found out today that everything that alex was telling me was right ... this settlement comany didnt even tell me aboiut this 1099c form i had to fill out and now im going to owe the money in taxes anyway. SO there was no sense in even givin all this money to this debt settlement comany because i could have done all this on my own ...and now i even paid a fee of 25% to this debt sif co on another accounnt for doing what i could have done myself for free. And i was not even getting the letters from the creditors on this account showing me that my intrest fees keep adding up because i was having all my invoices sent to this debt settlment comapany ...... and now im calling the debt settlement company back to get my money back and they keep avoiding my calls. and now there saying all these fees i paid to this debt sif company are gone that there gonna keep it because they have been working on my bills ... and they havent even settellted the account !!!! im soooooo fustrated ..... now i owe more money they when i sighned up with this debt settlement program and they have not paid no money i was givin them toward my balance and now they wont give me my money back !! is this even legal ????? can anyone help me with any info on this
I was with cosumer law center the worst choice i ever made , they ripped me off. I Could have settled all my debts for Free on my own . and dealt with the collections agenceny for free all on my own. witought having to spend money on fees for so called legal fees, the debt settlement companies are collection agengiens themselesvels they make commission negotiongiatiating settlements i can do on my own .... Id rather save my own money and settle my own debts !!!!
alex just helped me save tons of money , by not dealing with this debt settlement company, he got me a line of credit to pay off my debt and helped me with other settments saving me thoushands of dollars,, i was with this freedom debt relife company worst mistake i ever made all they did was ruin my credit and charge me fees out the whazoo for somethng i could have have done one my own,
