They just called at my grahms house today asked for both times. The first time they said they where financial masters inc. and they needed to speak to her I said she was unavailable and they proceeded to give a message and a different number for he'd to call and I told them to take her the number off the call list and not to call back and that she would not be getting the message. Ten mins later they called back and claimed to be the FBI. Hahaha. What a jk. Freaking [***].
Caller ID said Tate & Kirlin (Tate & Kirlin Associates Collections), they do not leave a message, and call often from different numbers. I have no idea who they are looking for, and have not received anything in the US Mail from them. According to the Law, collectors are suppose to notify you by US Mail frist, before trying to call someone. I have not ourstanding debt, so who ever they are looking for, does not live here.
I also keep receiving calls from Out of Area, with No Number showing, at 8:35 AM, every day now, for the past two months, and when I try to block that number, it says no number to block. ???
And by the way....I never had a care from the company they had in the letter. Bad news....block their number, send a letter and tell them to cease and desist.
Got a letter today claiming I owe money for a 1999 credit card. What year is it? Even the IRS has a statute of limitations....Never gave her my name when I called to query what the heck it was about. Somehow she (Lin Rae- got to be bogus) called me by my name. Advised her I had no intentions of talking about it; it's not on my credit report so they bought a bad list - served them right. In this economy a company like this is a bottem feeder. Ask them for documentation; they asked me.....they " didn't have anything to send" no kidding. Send a letter demanding their proof you allegedly owe something and if they harass you: sue them.
