This number has called me dozens of times in the last week without leaving a message. I haven't picked up because I didn't know the number.
Today I have counted 6 times in a 2 hour period. I called back. A man answered "Family Security, how can I help you?"
Received a call from this number and it sounded as if someone was breathing on the other end of the line, but disconnected the call after a few seconds.
Have received numerous hang ups and calls on my business cell phone from this number over the past 2 weeks. Claim to be Home Security Technology selling a home security system. I politely asked to be removed from list and was told it would be effective immediately. However, the calls began occurring again within days. I advised (in vain)several more times not to call. Amanda called twice this morning within 30 minutes of me advising her never to call again. Had Verizon block this number. Reported to the FTC as well.
Got a call from this number a couple weeks ago-a guy was on the other end. He claimed to be selling a free home security system, which got me suspicious. I told that there are security cameras all around the outside of where I live as well as a key for a main door and a different key for another door. He hung up when he realized that his offer was not something I needed. I really think that he only offered the free home security system in an attempt to get more information from me to commit some type of fraud or scam himself or else to sell any information he got from me to marketers who will pay for such information to target me with marketing messages. Two weeks later, today, a woman called me from same number also trying to convince me to accept a free home security system. Someone tried to call me yesterday afternoon using same number-I did not answer. Today, a woman called trying to convince me to accept a home security system for free. It is the same scam place that now starts to call more and more. I told her the details of all of the security where I live, so that they would stop using the ploy about a free home security system. I do not think the security system is really free. They may not even be really selling a security system. If the calls pick up or keep up, I will report to the FTC and to Verizon.
