Keeps calling saying they are from "Windows" and they need me to allow access to my computer because it is down loading a virus. When I attempt to call back the number says it is no longer in service.

Got a call at 7am yesterday no message left. Then got another call this am at 6:45. Man with heavy accent said he was from "the computer center" and that they were getting "error messages" from my computer and wanted to help me. I smelled a rat, told him he's a scammer and hung up.
Brandon and others, probably Indian, and others are calling, often at bad hours as part of a robocall scam to steal your money and computer info. They should be jailed.
This is the second time in three months these people called - they use different phone numbers - they are a fraud, Microsoft would never call - this is some place in India not the states - they have the ability to make you log-into your computer, open one their web sites - then they can access your pc - also they try to obtain credit card and bank info - FRAUD!!!
This is a terrible scam - the call is from a service center in India - they call to say they are from Microsoft - try to get you out of bed at 6:00 a.m. (p.s.t.) say there is a computer virus - gullible people would loginto their computers, open their website - then they have full access to your pc - make you enter credit card info - the phone number is from India not PA - they also gtried to contact my house two months ago with a different phone number.
