Haven't had calls from Philadelphia or New Jersey in a long while. Other area codes.....grr. Didn't answer because I wanted to check out the number before I screeched Into the phone. Verizon told me to complain to the Attorney General because what they are doing is nit against any law.
Unlike the others who posted, ours was a recording about a free health alert system. I love how they make it sound like this is something that they are required to provide by the government so you buy into it. I listened for a while and then hung up. Caller ID said "unknown" with Philly-area phone number.
Same as Arletta. Call from Bensalem(near Phila). Scam. Claims they want to send you free health alert system. Haven't gotten several calls from them that I never answer. They leave message.
