Received 2 calls from this # yesterday (Jan. 23) in less than 3 hours (9:30am & 12:15). Caller ID showed 'Unavailable' but also shows this #. Recorded message left on answering machine said: "...Internal Revenue Services......The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our dept number 215-688-5479. I repeat 215-688-5479. Thank you."
I've blocked this scammer.
I got the same message on saturday. Today I got the same message from 217-727-7088 Those [***] who do this deserve to be caugt and get a bullet in thier head
I did a little more checking and found a group of people reporting phone # 201-285-5682 that they are getting the same phony IRS calls as I received from area code 215. Geez, they are persistent and conniving, aren't they.
Makes you wonder how many more area codes, phone #'s they are using.
