Hello Tammy
I just had the same call today around 12:03PM. The person was either Pakistani or Indian. Told me the same thing. I called back and he stated I took out a on line loan for $400.00 I told him he was******* nuts. Same location when I looked online.
I keep on receiving phone calls from the same John Wright he called me today and acted like he was calling my job but when I called my job my manager told me that he didn't call and that they won't be able to give him info or make me loose my job, now I'm pissed off because I have him fifty dollars out of fear of loosing my job and going to jail because I have a son. So now I'm mad because I'm finding out that this us a scam.so I will like to know who can I call to stop this [***] from calling me and what can I do to get him off my
Why why why would you give a complete stranger money over the phone? Seriously it is people like you that keep people like that in business.
Just stop answering that call and if you gave him any kind of personal info such as a bank account - call your bank immediately and have your account frozen. You will probably have to change accounts and/or deactivate your CC or Debit card and get another.
Even if you owe someone money, you can't go to jail.
Well for your information when he called I wasn't thinking because I do have online pay day loans that I'm trying to pay back I was worried sick for there damn days I just got of the hospital yesterday due to thus I didn't know anything about this and was afraid of loosing my son so thanks for the kind words sir or ma'am. NOW I have reported him and us done with it
I received the same call from a person you can barely understand. I did not return the call. Where do I report them? Get these all the time and it is very frustrating.
I rec'd a call from the number, 215-904-3443 from someone w/an Indian accent. I decided to check online and realized this is another scam. My concern is they left a message on my vm at work! Also a message on my cell phone! Says his name is Jerry Contral (sounded like) You could barely understand the message. I heard police, locked out (I think he meant up).
