This number just called me. After reading this post, I checked my call forwarding to find that it was set to send my calls to this number 215-920-9498.
This number is spoofed. As another said, it's the AT&T voicemail number. The caller isn't AT&T.
I got repeated calls at 1:30 AM Sunday morning from this number that began with a ring tone that simulates an old wall phone ringing, then a recorded message that my computer isn't functioning properly and that I must go to a URL that I didn't write down. I had to turn off the phone to stop repeated calls. I suspect that the URL is a web page that installs a worm or virus as soon as my browser loads the page.
This is the number that I need to call to receive my voice mail messages. It is a legit number. But as other posts have noted, it is probably being "spoofed" and misused by others.
I have gotten calls from this # with voice messages. I called back from my landline and the man was a teacher at Master school in Phila. Today I got a voice mail from a flower shop. They are calling my tracfone and leaving messages. It is not an at&t voicemail service.
