This number just called me. After reading this post, I checked my call forwarding to find that it was set to send my calls to this number 215-920-9498.
I was just messing with my phone last night and went into Call Forward - Voice Calls - (To:Voicemail) - Change Setting ... and this number was stored as the Forward Number!!! I have no idea how it got there or for how long, I've had this phone for over 2yrs and never used call forward. I was just curious on how to set it up and was shocked to see that 215-920-9498 number as my Call Forward #.
I did a Google search and came across this Post.

This is your AT & T voicemail service's telephone number! The one you access by holding down the #1 - I find I cannot call it from a landline. It will send you a message whenever a caller has left you a voicemail. You can hear the message by answering it - rathering than calling into the voicemail box. If you want to de-activate it, go to call forwarding settings and delete the number.
caller is harrassing me with lawsuit, stating I owe them money, but they would be willing to settle....I have no dealings with these people...how do you get them to stop???
