I have been getting calls from this # 3-4 times a day for the pass week. They have the wrong # I told them that 3 times already and they still call. There is no Ruth or Nancy at this # so stop calling me,but they still call.
I don't care if the are the president....even if they are a collections agency, they should at least leave a message regarding who they are, who they want and a call back number.....I neve answer my phone if I don't know the number, so if I owe you money, you will never collect it unless you leave a message and I know you are looking for me.
They do call your home and ask for someone else, hoping you will say your name and how long you have had this number, because it is probably you they want. Then they start with you getting calls from "card member services" press #2 to stop future calls or #3 to speak to a representative. Pressing #2 doesn't stop them, it only tells them at what time of day an actual person is there. Pressing #3 to speak is a ruse to get your name and address as a ruse to confirm other information they may have. They are known to use telephone harrassment (robotic dialers) repeatedly They even state they use telephone information in their corporate personna. They also use personnel to pose as a cable company employee offering one free year of cinemax or showtime, in doing so you must disclose your address to them which they use to update their system. Oddly they will never put anything in writing, They just want to harrass you into calling them, READS: You made the contact they didn't, hence helping them avoid serious litigation.
Bunch crappola these scammers calling everyone. They called and didn't leave a message. What good is it being on the DO NOT CALL list if NO ONE bothers to check it. I think that list was a scam to get peoples numbers.
