I received a devastated call from this particular number stating I owed an outstanding judgement! They had information about me that was not given by me and they contacted people I knew. I am too through it is bad enough that the economy is messed up and things happen financially but why would you try to take the little money individuals have to survive with.
I got a call saying I owe a debt. I am under investigation for fraud. I said are you a creditor, whats the name of your company. The said the department of investigation. I started to ask more questions and then they hang up. I put the number in a search engine and of course it came up as a scam. I called them back about three and curse them out. I ask the damn questions they ask me, two can play this game.
They kept hanging up, lol. I am not the one to play with. Notify the police as soon as possible. Put these [***] scammers in jail. Low life, scam of the earth, [***] eating losers. Tell whoever you know about this number. 216-282-2983 OH, USA. Trying scam people out of their hard earn money. If you work with the law and want to crack a case, investigate this.
Got a call this morning, let it go to voice mail. I called the number they left on the message and had to pry out of the woman who answered what the name of the company was...Irwin and Associates Fraud Division. I asked what this was in regards to and she said a payday loan you took out from Arrow Financial in 2008. I most certainly did not take out a payday loan in 2008 but asked her to send me something in writing via fax or email (thinking that this would surely end the call). She said she would need to submit my full cooperation in the matter to have this purged when I asked what the amount in question was. I told her that made no sense to me but that if she could send me some documentation I would have my attorney look it over. I did get ugly when she started to talk over me. She said she was not "Customer Service" and proceeded to be very loud and rude...therefore I ended the call. Not sure what to make of it but since I did not take out a payday loan or borrow any money of any sort in the last decade, I have to assume this is BS!
