If you have a smartphone, dowload an app called Mr Number. There, you put any number you want on the block list - and you have an option to send a blocked call straight to v-mail or hang up the call right away. I prefer the second option :)

These people have been calling for months approximately 3 - 4 times a day. I have reported the number to the DNC list. Yesterday I pushed 1 in hopes of if stopping.
Oh my god I hate this number. They call our office at least 10 times a day on EVERY line we have. It is so annoying and frustrating! What do I do to stop this! I have taken our number off their list for the past 2 MONTHS!
I also have been receiving calls from this "company" for 2 months now. They call a minimum of 2 times a day and up to 4 times a day. I have done everything I can to try to make it stop both the correct way (pressing 1, etc) to leaving the phone with dead air, blowing whistles, etc. Nothing works. Today I filed an online complaint with the FCC and I encourage others to do the same to stop this horrible harassment. It's a quick form and takes less than 5 minutes to fill out. We have been receiving calls from this "Public Assist" since November. . .called the phone company to complain; ask them how do we stop it (we have a non-published number; on Do Not Call Registry). . .they said to contact the PUCO so we have started keeping a log (date/time/phone number) and will compile a list and report them to the PUCO as well as the Atty General's office of our state--this is harassment!
OMG!!!OMG!! 3x a day every day. They call and call. Hang ups. I've even tried the call back and press 1 do get on do not call list to no avail. I'm so sick if this. I'm on the DNC List obviously that does no good. I'ts as bad as the political calls!
