I was receiving calls from this number multiple times a day...got 6 while we were in a movie one day. I finally answered and pressed the option to be taken off the list. The calls stopped for about a month...but have started again. We get two or three a day on most days.
Just received a call from this number. When I answered on the second ring, they hung up on me. I imagine that they are trying to see if it belongs to someone. What is with these losers? Is it that they want to leave a recorded message, instead of speaking with someone?
Between those phony credit card rate reducers and rip-off "energy" companies, they tie up my phone line. I certainly don't have a phone for their convenience. Like everyone else, I am on the do-not-call list.
The area code is Cleveland, but I am sure they are sitting in India. They have a way to rig these things. I've had it up to here with scammers.
216-452-1053 called on 1/4, asking to speak to the person responsible for the Duke Energy Bill. Explained we did not have Duke Energy and please put number on their DNC list; fixing dinner 1/7 and guess aid who called again? When I explained that I had already requested to be placed on their DNC list, she hung up on me. She said her name was Amanda and she was with Electric and Gas Assistance Program out of New York. Why is NY calling Ohio?
Just got my third call from them, this time I got a name, Faith, and she promptly hung up on my after I asked where the company is located. Getting tired of this!
