Seems to be telemarketer for Ohio Electric supplier wanting you to switch. One call, had hard time figuring out what she was saying and I asked her to tell me the name of company. She hung up. Based on that the next time I answered I told them how rude the person had been and I would never deal with the company. Since asking them to remove me from THEIR telephone list have not gotten any more calls.
This # called, left no message. After reading here, I decided to call back. "Thank you for calling Verde Energy. We called you for marketing purposes. If you'd like to be added to our Do Not Call list, please press 1." Fingers crossed that takes care of it.
Getting calls every hour and 15 minutes from this number. Confirmed the 216.465.8952 number is Verde Energy's phone number. Calling it is worthless since it only goes to a recording that tells you to press 1 to be removed. Pressed 1 yesterday and still receiving calls every hour and 15 minutes today so far.
Verde Energy's website has a customer service number of 1-800-388-3862. I called and spoke with a very nice person who said they would remove my info immediately. Will update in a couple days if I keep receiving calls.
