showed only a number, when I answered she said she was representing "senior benefits". once I determined it was nothing I was enrolled in, I told her I wasn't interested.. once, twice ...obviously she wasn't listening, she was reading her transcript so I simply hung up. Heavy South Asian accent. Scammer.
Received call showing Financial Relief 216-487-7014. Answered was the Windows tech scammers. He didn't address me by name in the normal manner but asked if I was owner of computer. I asked what the name of the company he worked for and he repeated Windows Tech. I asked his location he said Dambulla I asked for a repeat of name he said the same thing. I asked for contact number and he hung up. I did have to do a search and it turns out Dambulla is in Sri Lanka. That's a little different from the Senior Benefit scammer calls but hey those scammers will try anything won't they?
Received call as Financial Relief 216-487-7014. Answered was a male John, who had good English skills, possibly westernized. He started some spiel about funeral expenses and I asked if he was threatening me, he said no, and started his spiel again. I asked for the name of the company he worked for he said Senior Benefits, I said that's a generic name and asked for his headquarters, he said Jacksonville, I asked what state and he said Florida with nothing added. He said he could have a local Sarasota FL agent give me a call back tomorrow. I asked if the agent would be flying in from India or Pakistan and he hung up, go figure! These predators are preying on the elderly and vulnerable and there is nothing lower on the evolutionary ladder.
