I received a call from 253-880-1090, same thing. The caller said he is responding to my on line survey, to which I told him I have not done a survey on line. I ran the number and it is listed as a 360Network number. 360Network is one of the largest and richest fibre optic companies in the world run out of Podunk Colorado and appearing to be owned and run by a bunch of creeps. Nuff said. The automated answering service says it is NW Divisions, and they are an employment agency. Yeh, whatever.
I received a phone call from this number about ten minutes ago. Rang twice and hung up. Unfortunately, I have worked for a legitimate telemarketing agency in the past. You can be legally contacted by representatives of an organization if you have an existing business relationship with a part of it. Even if you are on a Do Not Call List. For example, if you sign up for a credit card, your automatically giving permission to be contacted by third parties that work on behalf of the credit card organization to try to sell you products. Most likely this "company" is affiliated with phone companies in some way which is probably why they can legally, though unethically, contact us.
i say all of us start calling them all the time and show them what it feels like to be bothered on a day off .
its time for us to take a stand and tell them we are not taking this [***] from them any further
Its a recording/bot. It fooled me for a bit, then I realized it was a recording. I asked if it was a computer and it replied a delayed "No". So I stayed silent as it asked questions, then all of a sudden it 3 way called another person and asked the same questions to them to apply for college. I yelled over saying its a scam and the new callee told me thank you and hung up.
