Showed on CID as "OH, USA" - so not sure if it's Ohio or some far-away crime den with so many people's digital ID's, including phone numbers. True, there are all sorts of pressures and incentives for "selling Google ads", and some might pray on people with things like "People on Google+ are just waiting to share your product, bla bla". The vast majority is fake, but there are some actual telemarketers. Still, calling me on a Do-Not-Call registered phone, and leaving a message (all I got) saying press 1 to opt in or 2 to opt out. Sorry, no one home at my end, either..." It's doubly illegal, marketing to DoNotCall numbers and engaging in criminal fraud - because if you press one OR two they have more data about you to sell to even more aggressive criminals, like you just pressed 1 or 2 so they can sell you to other lists and have confirmed you're the right phone number to harass. We've already "opted out" by passing and taking part of "Do Not Call" regulations.
Report it. Still more laws violated for spoofing the phone number but they've used this a while, maybe traceable. Scum...
