Got the dreaded call this morning at 8 am. Did not answer and no message left . An Illinois number.
I am on the NO Call list..this doesn't seem to make a difference. Calls have been coming in alot recently..I call it harassment. When I do answer, all they say is "goodbye". Is there not a way that this harassment can be stopped????
Got a phone call from them today on viber. It was an Indian man asking me about my internet connection. I told him to stop calling and he then asked me if I was a girl and if I was Muslim. Wtf??? I told him again to stop calling me. Don't answer, it's obviously a scammer and a creep.
This number calls me constantly. I finally talked to them to see what it is all about. The guy said that he was from a Windows company and they are getting reports of a virus on my computer. Since I do not have a home computer, just my work laptop I strung him along to see what he was going to try to do. He wanted me to log onto my computer and give him access so that he could go in and show me where the problem was. He wanted my IP address and other information. I asked him what company he worked for and the number to that workplace. When he gave me the number (1-800-443-2222) I called it and looked it up on line while I was on the phone with him. It was not what he said it was. I asked him why my Company wasn't alertiing me of this problem. After questioning him for a few minutes he just hung up. DON'T GIVE YOUR INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!
