Person called, and I could hear them breathing on the other end. I said 'hello' three times and hung up. Then, because I don't have caller I.D., I *69ed and got the info. I googled and got here, which I find very disturbing that this person is calling this many people- WHAT'S THE POINT???----
So, I called them back, blocking my ##- and a guy answered and said,
"Hello, sorry we missed your call, please call again later"- and I said "hello" (because it didn't sound like a machine)- and he said, "Please call again later"- again, and hung up on me. Seriously.
Hard to tell what his motives are. I've read some posts "assuming" he wants money, but I have not read any posts until yours where he has ever said anything, admiringly under your circumstances you called him instead of vice-versa. So I doubt he's looking for money, but you never know.
Now I did not read ever post out here so there may be other cases where he has spoken. None the less, who knows what he's up to; could be one of many things. From someone making random calls looking for a victim to possibly a very lonely person who could be housebound due to age or medical reasons looking to pass the time by amusing them self with these random phone calls. Who knows, but whatever the reason is, I feel sorry for the individual such that they feel the need to make these calls.
BTW, I received a call from this number a day or two ago. I wasn't home, no message left, just the caller id. Google search indicates the same Davenport address that others have mentioned.
