I lives west yet of Plainfield and I just got called on my cell phone with the same spiel. You have been chosen because of something you ordered on some website and we will give you a free Walmart card worth $50 if you help us with our 3 minute survey. At that point, clicked off. My cell phone has been on the do no call list for YEARS now, same as my home phone. How these people get through, I don't know.
Its from a company called Loyalty Rewards - in other words it's BS. They will give you a $50 walmart gift card if you stay on the line and answer 3 questions. I didn't. They say they're calling because you visited an affiliated website.
I just received a call from this #. I did not answer it and they did not leave a message. I called it back and it is from a telemarketer recording trying to give away free Wal-Mart gift card as a promotion becasue of a suposed websight I had visited. I have no Idea what websight it could have been since I am very careful what sight I go and definitely don't give my # to them. I am also on the do not call list and evidently it doesn't work.
But when u do call it back, it does give u the option of pressing #2 and they will remove u from their call list. I did that now lets see if that works....
I have been geeting calls from this number recently, like most people I on't answer if I do not recgonize the number. It gets very irritating because I usually have my phone on slient while at work so when I see a missed call I think I have missed a call from one of my kids, only to find out it's from these yahoos.
