What did the police say? My daughter was called by them regarding a loan she actually took out 5 days ago and failed to pay back in full (she thought she was on monthly payment terms). They've got her pretty scared she's going to jail.
I just called the original loan company to pay off the balance of my daughter's loan for her. I asked them if this would take care of the other guy that called from 217-960-0689. She asked if he had an Indian accent, I said yes, and she said he was a scammer who got my daughter's loan info from her online application, somehow. Don't fall for this scam!
Received a call from 217-960-0689 and he demanded that I leave my job and go directly to a Western Union location to pay him $500. I told him I did not have a Pay Day loan ever and asked him when I supposedly took this loan out. He could not tell me any of this information- just told me if I did not send him money by 4pm today that I would go to jail tomorrow for 30 days. I contacted my attorney's office and she researched the phone numbers and found that they are scammers!!! Unbelievable!!!
I got a call from this number. Wgen i answer they ask me if im aware that a suit has been filed against me for fraud and read me my address and social. Asked me for my attorneys info. Then transfer me to a lead superviser. When i hang up they continue to call over and over then leave me one voicemail. If its a scam they are very persistent. Ive had one other incident where when i talked to the guy he told me to pay $550 and it would ve dropped. I told him to take me to court. and he quit calling
They just called me and freaked me out but I never took out a loan with the place they said nor heard of it. I mean I just don't want to be screwed over in the lond run.
