Caller from Viking, Minnesota (according to my caller ID, not neccessarily so) said my computer was running very slow and he wanted me to be in front of it so he could repair it for me. We are on the Do Not Call list and have an ongoing case with the FCC and FTC so everything was recorded and transmitted to their office. I hope he goes to jail for a long time.
Some posters have identified these calls as coming from a Minnesota number based on the 218 area code. However, I've received the same calls while in France, from an English-speaking male with an Indian accent, but the number appears without the "1" at the beginning which would be the USA country code, so I wonder if the 218 is in fact a country code, which would be for Libya?
