Caller from Viking, Minnesota (according to my caller ID, not neccessarily so) said my computer was running very slow and he wanted me to be in front of it so he could repair it for me. We are on the Do Not Call list and have an ongoing case with the FCC and FTC so everything was recorded and transmitted to their office. I hope he goes to jail for a long time.
Ok this guy calls and tells me that my computer has called him about a problem with my computer . Claiming to work for Microsoft as a tech. He begins with his thick accent about my computer called him and it needs to be fixed right away. So I told him that my refrigerator is running away along with my dishwasher , and my washer and dryer are having an affair. Did my computer tell him about these affairs. No, because I do not own a computer so then he says [***] and hangs up. he has called three more times since I talked to him. I DO NOT ANSWER MY PHONE WHEN I SEE THIS PHONE NUMBER OR ANY NUMBER I DO NOT RECOGNIZE.
Caller says he is calling from Microsoft windows about error they are receiving from my computer. Heavy accent. I asked him what kind of scam he was trying to pull and he hung up.
scammers, do no bother answering call if you get a call from this number.
12/30/14 call around 4:00 pm Hawaii time from Viking (218) 523-6541. male caller said to turn on our computer and wanted security info. My husband told him " no thanks" and hung up on him.
These SOB's had the nerve to call me at 7:30,A.M ! Luckily I have Caller I.D. , saw this unknown number and did not answer. Of course they did not leave a message. What will it come to? ...Allowing them to call all hours of the night ???????? When will the government put a stop to these [***] companies doing this? The call originaled in Minnisota. Minnisota, are you going to do anything about stopping these As_ho_es ???
