This number called at 1:22am EST time, I called back and Fake recording said number disconnected... its harassment! If I find out who it is...I will own them!
This number called us at 4:30am. Woke up every one in the house. It is no consideration at all. Agree, its harassment!
What can we do to stop this number?
Called Emily Cooperative Telephone. Very helpful. Advised that the number is theirs, but it is not an active number. Advised that it is probably an overseas party probably just calling to harass people. That they have found a way to spoof the system so as to display a fake telephone number and so as not to be traceable. Emily Coop. has been pressing the FCC to impose requirements that no communication is allowed unless it can be traced back to a legitimate number, but the FCC won't impose such a requirement at this time. Emily Coop. suggests going to your telephone provider and asking for a Selective Caller Rejection so as to block future calls.
