Caller ID=Cell Phone, Caller id'd self as "Illinois Council of Police" Said they are a "fundraising organization"..... NOT TRUE -- The IL Council of Police is a UNION ... So either the union is misrepresenting themselves OR someone is masquarading as a fund raiser. Either way, DO NOT TALK to THESE PEOPLE --NOR -- do not donate. Even if it a legit union, to misrepresent themselves is bad enough.... If you have registered as a do not call number.... report them to the FTC asap ....
This is a person who says they are asking for donations for the police. Not true, of course. They call back even after I've told them that I'm not interested and asked them not to call again - and even though my number is on the do-not-call list. I recently blocked them using my phone company so we'll see if that helps.

My new phone number, received a call from this number. Same thing, I called back and got recorded number. Does anyone know who I can report repeated harrassing phone calls to?
