I received the same email and phone number from William Capre for an ad on Craigslist. What sounded legit at first immediately threw up a red flag when he stated he worked for UPS as someone having something to do with being at sea, and was scheduled to go to Hawaii for 19 days. His grammar and english is better than most scammers I've seen and he had not mentioned anything about Paypal or ebay yet, but probably because we didn't get that far. Thank you Google for allowing people to post things like this so we can all check it out.
Hello Mary, I received the same e-mail from this looser ,he wanted to buy a $200,000 boat from me and pay me directly in full with pay -pal etc... all the red flag where there so I Google him ! Many thanks to all of you who reported this scumbag, by the way i am a Canadian base in Montreal and I reported him to the R.C.M.P they gonna have fun with this guy.Regards Louis.
Wow, I can't believe it. Almost word for word. Latest e-mail was this morning at 5:30. This is definately a SCAM. He has'nt got to the shipping cost $'s yet but mentioned he was checking into it. Claims he is out at sea right now and works for UPS. Can't anybody catch this @#$%.
Aloha, almost believed this guy until my friend pointed out that the email was not put into my name.
Obvious he sends the same message about not being dissapointed and that he works for UPS. He told me that he was on a shipment to Hawaii and would be 19 days on the sea. I told him my friend bet me $100,000 that this would never happen. Glad I looked him up online....pass it on.........
