I've been getting calls from this company a few times a week for a while. I never answered because I didn't know who it was and they  never left a message. One time I answered and got no answer so I hung up. The next day they called again and left no message so I looked up the number here. Today they called again!!!! so I called back and it sent me to a rep who said I owned money on some sort of mc for a bank I've never heard of. I had to say three times. STOP CALLING ME SIR BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN. Then he switched the call and turned me to another rep. When she answered I said he kept calling me sir and talking about a cc I've never hard of. She said sorry we weren't notified not to call this number. As I said you shouldn't have my number i don't know who you are looking for she transferred me AGAIN so I hung up and came here to post this. I'm furious at them. I wrote the date and time she said she would take me off the list. if they calla gain I will answer and ask for their information and say I am giving it to a lawyer who will be getting in touch with them.

ALERT! If you receive a call from this number, do not pay without verifying it in writing first. If they do not have your correct address, do not give it to them. If they do not have your correct social security number, DO NOT give it to them. I have been harrassed by these folks and am currently filing a lawsuit. I do not have perfect credit, but I'm reliable - 785 FICO score. They didn't have a valid past due account, a valid street address, or a valid social security number for me and have started calling my relatives trying to track me down (how did they get this information on me and yet do not have any of my correct personal identifying information?). The AG in our state is currently passing legislation where all debt collectors have to verify in writing that the past due amounts are in fact valid and not in violation of the FCBPA. I am a professional lobbyist for a living.

If you believe that your debt collector is fraudulent, you have two options that will work.

1) First contact your state's AG and file a cease and desist letter and do the same with the FTC. The next time you receive a call, tell them you have already reported them to the AG and the FTC and send them a certified copy of the letter in the mail (the post office will certify your mail if you ask - use to work in mass tort and we sent all our mail this way)

Or

2) Make fraudulent debt collectors pay by filing a lawsuit. Which is what I'm doing. I can't stand scammers.

They have called 3 times today and not leaving a message so they didn't leave who they are other then it coming up on Call ID as "Local Office" which I thought was only to be used for numbers from your own area code.
