Recieved a call from this number with a very cheerful voice of a woman claiming that I'd earned 2600 dollars worth of trip reward points because my credit rating, with equifax and 3 or 4 other collection agencies that I didn't catch, had improved. The recording then said to press"1" to accept or "3" to refuse.I pressed "1" and was immediately given an option of whether to collect and for security perposes, to enter my credit card number. Heads up on this number, they are out to collect credit card numbers and max them out before they move on to another state/province/country to scam millions.I pressed "1" to find out if I could speak to a person but, its just a scam recording.
Got a call from this number saying that my credit with the top four credit agency was great for the last twelwe months and that I have earn bonus points that I can claim for a vacation. I just hanged up and did not continue any farther.
Got a call from this number, the recorded voice said my credit rating had improved and qualified for new line of credit, press 1 to continue. Hung up the phone. About 30 seconds later picked up the phone, selected a speed dial long distance number and hit dial. NO dial tone, heard the recording continuing. My phone started to dial before I could hang up (first number in a long distance call is 1). Hung up immediately. Picked up to listen and the recording was still playing, heard a beep, and then heard breathing on the other end. Hung up, picked up, still breathing on the other end. after a couple minutes got a dial tone. Too stunned to speak to whomever/whatever was on the line.
