called on July 01 2008 at 10:23 AM EST. I did not answer for i did not know who the heck it is.

I hate getting Out of Area calls.  9 times out of 10, it's telemarketers trying to sell you crap you don't need.  So annoying!

I live in BC Canada, and I received a call from this group on Canada day...of all days.
IT was one of those credit card interest rate offer things...I normally press one just to yell at them. Today was no different. The second I asked her which firm she represented she hung up.

I too, received a July 1st. telemarketing call in Ontario from the same number. When l asked the male caller the name of his company he said, "Capital One" and hung up the phone. I called Capital One's customer service number and was told the number was not theirs. I don't believe them. According to the reverse look-up site the phone came from Fremont MI. USA. Provider Lucre.
