Got this call now twice, claiming I had a shipment of a Medical Alert System free of charge, items and shipping and to schedule and shipping time.. I pressed 1 like it instructed hoping to get a human and it basically hung up on me.. I called it back and got the constant busy signal.. MAKE IT STOP!
Got the same call from this number 2 weeks in a row. Same recording. What is funny is that I am a Paramedic here where I live, so if someone falls, I am the one to respond.....so if I fell, would I have to call myself??? LOL!
An amazingly good actor has recorded a message about a shipping date for an emergency alert system, supposedly ordered by me or someone in the family. You think it is a real caller until you try to engage him in conversation and the voice continues on without a pause. I agree with other folks' concerns that the elderly have become targets for such scams.
Have received three calls from this number. The guy seems to be reading from a script. This last call I interrupted him with, "This is harassment. Do not call again." He finally stopped talking. Enough already.
