Called and said something in the background could not make it out and breathed into phone. Has called 4 or 5 times.

Called stating I have a 20 month commitment left in my magazine subscriptions but couldn't tell me which magazines they were actually sending me. Then was transferred to "billing supervisor" who said he needed to verify my "major credit card number" on file. When I asked to verify via birthdate he said no but he could discount me remaining service to $79/mo! I asked which card I had on file and he said it was a Visa card. I have no Visa card accounts at all. I asked to be removed from the calling list and he said "I can't do that here so you'll just have to put up with our calls for now." Contacting my lawyer about this.

Magazine  subscriptions

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
