Scammer on Craigs list. I listed an item for sale and he inquired on the item and wanted to get my name and address to make payment or something. Then he would send someone to pick up my item.
Same scammer on Craigslist. They pretend they want to buy. You get sent a money order that looks 100% legit and they apparently make it out for about $500 to much and just tell you to send the difference back as they don't have another. You go to the bank and cash it so all is fine and you think you have a legit buyer. You send them the money before shipping your product to them and then if i understand it correctly you never hear from them again and about 2 months later after that money order has made it around its international connection, it finally comes back and although your bank cashed it originally and you think its good, its finally discovered to be a fake and you are on the line for all that money.
IN MY CASE THEY DID NOT CALL BUT JUST SENT A TEXT MESSAGE AS I HAD MY PHONE NUMBER IN THE AD BUT WANTED ME TO TEXT THEM BACK
