Received a message from Crystal Smith from the Fraud and Worthless Check Division saying I was a known affiliate of my son. She ended the call with 'govern yourself accordingly and good luck.'
Received a voicemail message from Crystal Smith. She says she's affiliated with Fraud and Worthless Check Division. When I call back Travis Sullivan answers and threatens to arrest me regarding a payday loan from JHS. Refuses to send any written documentation and wants me to send payment via Moneygram to WCCI.
I too received a voicemail today from this number. The lady was barely understandable, definitely not professional. I just opened my checking account less than 2 weeks ago and having done nothing as yet but make a deposit! I haven't had a checking for quite some time and only wrote checks to my current landlord, otherwise it's usually the debit card. I can't wait to talk to them!
Thanks for all the above comments. I received a call today from Daniel Stevens. Pretty much the same story as all of you. I don't know how these people obtain my information, but they arent getting a dime from me at any rate. I was very concerned until I tapped into this forum. Glad there are places online to find out who is trying to scam me....
