Got a call from the same guy and he asked me about my computer. I cursed the guy out and hung up the phone. The guy actually tried to argue with me too, but I didn't give him a chance.
So tired of these companies calling , I couldn't even understand the guy!!He kept yapping about problems with my computer until I told him to shut up, that I don't even have a computer......hu hung up..
some guy called saying his name was Adam Smith and told me that my computer had a problem. I told him to send me a new computer and then he hung up..SKAM
It was a pretty polished indian accent (I am indian). He told me his name was Bryan O'Connor. I think these guys have an irish name fetish. Anyhow, he said that he was from Microsoft and was detecting some viruses on my computer. I played along and he started to tell me that I need to go to the Main Menu etc and open this and that. I stopped to take another call and told him that he was a con artist. He said that I can call him back at 845-241-1701.
Anyhow, I had a similar call before a few months back.
Call from "the computer department"! As I knew where this was going, I hung up. [Computer department of WHAT?]. I wish I hadn't hung up and instead lead this Indian person on for a long time. Let intelligence get the best of me.
THis guy has called me 3 times. First time, asked for a "Ms. Nancy," and I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. He called again about 1 week later, talking about a "computer," and "nancy" and I told him I had no idea what he was talking about or who, and he had the wrong number and hung up. He called back a third time, yelling at me to "listen to him," and "listen," and "computer." These were the only words I understood through his thick Indian accent. I yelled back that he had to quit calling me and remove my number from his calling list and hung up. What options do I have to file a complaint if he calls back? This is tiresome.
