Insurance scam. Report to FBI! Got a call from them about a pain cream. I'm 20 years old with no pain!! Hung up on me when I told them I didn't have pain.
This number calls me at least a dozen times a day. It called me this morning, and when I called it back about a half hour later, the guy who andwered the line simply said, "Christina?" like we were friends. I told him "No", and he hung up. WTF? First, how did they get my number??? And how do they know my name??? So I called back and it rang forever, so I hung up and called 3 more times and finally got a girl who said her name and that she was from some insurance company and asked how she could help me. I told he she could help by taking my number off their call list. She then says, "Christina, I have you declined and you will no longer receive calls from us." then she hung up.
This is a big [***] scam.. do not I repeat do not answer any questions from them. They are a big scam. The person is trying to get all your id information. I am extremely annoyed at how brazen these people are. I will usually "turn the tables" on them and ask for their name address, birth date, social security number, mothers maiden name, all bank accounts etc etc. Then I say to the person calling as soon as all your infomation checks out on my end I will tell talk to you. Then they always hang up!. I use the this "turn the table" tactics on telemarkers and phone solistors. Usuallly my rant stops them in their tracks. I do not let them get a word in edge wise when I am hounding them. I take the call in my control.
