I've received 6 calls from these dirtbags already today and still counting. They are alternating calling from two phone numbers. 214-705-3703 and 239-443-3940. No one has my phone number other than my wife to call me for emergencies when I am away from home.
These dirtbags should be very thankful they are not within my reach because if they were my response would be swift and violent!
Someone probably signed up for some free [***] website and entered in ur number as a bogus number. Enter the 214 number into the number search and there is a group with some creative ideas on how to make it stop.
Yeah I keep getting a call from 239-443-3940. I tried calling them back, but it just took me to a machine that said "Please hold. You are third in the queue". After about three times of telling me this, the call was lost.
I recommend just blocking them. It has nothing to do with the carrier you use.
Just received a call while I was at work. Naturally, I didn't answer- and they did not leave a message. I think this may have something to do with an advertisement for a $1000 Walmart gift card that I responded to and didn't realize was feeling scammy until they already had most of my info. I can't be sure.
It may be a sweep to find real numbers to sell to telemarketers and, unfortunately, having your voice mail answer is all they need to know that number belongs to a real person.
