An internet search on the company yields numerous complaints saying the company uses scam methods to sell magazines. Also, their official website has broken links to pages "customer service" and "about us". Interesting.
THESE STUPID PEOPLE CALL ME AT LEAST 6 TIMES A DAY. EARLY MORNING, LATE EVENING. THEN THEY HANG UP OR NO ONE IS THERE. THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!!
i was seventh in line when i called, and i waited. finally, a male voice identified himself as "jamie from GCR." i was impressed he identified himself and company after reading all these blogs. when i had made it clear that i had filled out no surveys or gift cards, he tried to convince me to put my wife on. i explained that if she had filled out something, then it was a mistake, and that i am trying to put an end to these calls. he said he would take our number off their call-list, read back my number (obviously they have it), and was professional and polite the whole time. now we just wait and see if he did the right think. update coming.
Well tell me why then, would they call you and when you answer the phone they ask for someone by there first name? Dont they normally give their name and the business they work for and then ask for a person by their first name? Not like their a friend calling a friend?
And then to leave messages where it sounds like its a scuffle or party going on?
These people call me 4 or 5 times a day are more. I do not respond to number I do not know. They never leave a msg. I have AT&T Cingular as my provider. What can I do to stop this??
