GCR...I answered and a lady told me she was a verifier for a prize of 500.00 gift card, I should watch for fed ex. Long story short, she told me my full name, my full address, my phone and that it was a cell. she didn't know my credit card type I preferred...I told her prepaid, I dragged the call out for 15 mins as she explained how I had met two of the 3 requirements to get my prize....I would need to start paying 14.95 a month for 60 months for magazines...3 of them for the price of one...I would get to choose from a list of 300 when they arrived...she didn't know when that would be, "she was new, just 2 day" and then "her supervisor came over and needed to confirm that she was doing her job right" that one cut to the chase and finally said she needed to verify my payment method for the 60 months of magazines, could I read her the card number, any card number...but she couldn't ship until she verified...I told her sorry I could give her a number, and I was driving...she said any number would let her verrify even if it was not the one I would keep paying with. I finally said I am sorry, I cannot give you a credit card number over the phone...she said she could not ship without it, I understood and she said goodbye and hung up.
Call comes from (239)443-3940,(517)414-6463 and (402)715-9341 stating that you have won a $500 shopping card for filling out an online survey and want to know more personal information about you. You can ask them to stop calling but they will continue. They will also send texts from the same numbers and in the body of the message state that if you want to stop receiving texts from them to text them back "STOP", but the texts will continue. They will call and text you many times a day, at all hours of the day, even in the wee hours of the morning. I havent had any luck telling them to stop, trying to call them back doesnt get you an answer, trying to text message them to stop doesnt work. So STOP already! I guess we all could try turning them into the FCC and the Better Business Bureau.
