I got a call from 239-498-3522. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
I googled the number and on site listed it as coming from Location: Bonita Springs, FL with the carrier Embarq Florida, Inc.
To the person who listed http://www.interceptofflorida.com/ just because the number is similar doesn't mean they are the ones responsible. It is wrong to say such a thing. My son has a friend who's number is one digit different than our number. If my son's friend started to prank call everyone in our town, I would hate to be accused of their wrong doing.
I also got a call from these people, best way to avoid them is to not answer the damn phone. I'm sure the more times they get a response from you, the more times they will call. We have caller id, plus a phone that announces the numbers (computer voice).
We just avoid numbers we do not know. Common sense people.
What a very Rude group of people!!!! I asked the girl who she was and how she got my number, as it is unlisted.She told me that the Credit Breau sent it to her. I asked to speak to her supervisor and demand information, she told me she could not give me a direct contact number because of heavy in-coming call volume. (She did not use that exact wording.... I don't think she had much of an education.)None the less beware. I am going to call my phone company to see if I can get any futher with this. I will let you know if I found out any more Information.

Thanks for all the info. These people called me today and many times before. The problem is that they keep changing the number they call from. I have VoIP so I can block specific numbers from getting through but since they change numbers it's not doing me as much good as I would like. From now on I am filing a complaint on each and every company like this that calls me at www.donotcall.gov/complaint/
