Got a call this morning and got hung up on when I asked for a manager. I called http://www.interceptofflorida.com/ and talked to 2 managers. THey assured me that this was NOT their company and that they would be investigating on their end. Please, do not call them about these calls.
Telephone number 239-498-3522 has been calling me atleast 2 or three times a day and asking me to talk to this person. I do not know who the person is. Then they wanted to talk to me about credit cards. I have been on the do not call list for atleast 2 years. I have check out the number with Intellius. I just got where they were from and they said there is one address in Lehigh Fl.
I got called, got the typical "Press one for a customer service rep" thingy. I got transferred to some guy named John. I asked him what company he works for and they hung up immediately. Lame . . .
I answered the call and heard a recorded message, saying this was my last chance to lower my credit card rates! I pushed 1 to speak w/ a 'customer service' rep, who asked if I was respondeing to a recorded message. I said "Yes, and I am on the 'do not call' list, why are you calling me?" in a very pleasant way. She hung up without responding.
239-498-3522 called and a message recorder said to push the number 1 to reduce my credit card interest. So I pushed one. A guy came on the phone, and I asked which credit care company her represented. He hung up.
