Robot call - Naples Fla. Called at 7:15am PST. I did not answer - they did not leave message. I never pick up call if not in my contacts or do not leave a VM. This week alone I got scammers calling me from pinged proxy USA numbers from DC, Sioux Falls, and now this Naples -- is a scam and they are trying to try several region sources to see if you pick up. This can validate your phone number - which is a piece of information they can triangulate against other data points like email etc to figure out who you are. I also opened an email accidentally this week phishing me as if urgent PayPal query. PayPal confirmed it was a phish. So what I'm noticing is escalation of scammers attacking last few weeks to disrupt USA - blitzing us to cyber hacking --- Russia and China - sources and others. I make my living in digital so if they can get close to me - they can really be hurting the average joe out there - grabbing identities of unwitting. Please be viligant and watch what you put on social. Let your banks know that you are seeing this more often if so, because you could be a narrow target and they are getting close to knowing who you are if you see frequency or random unknown calls at all hours etc.
It would be of great interest o us both if we shared information. I was one of millions affected by the Yahoo infiltration, but by pure coincidence I found out what they are doing-none of it is obvious, and, none of it will impact, right now. Years from now, though millions of people will all be impacted as this is all offshore. I am on this system with this handle-see if you can reach me-thanks much.
