Guy has really wonky voice. Said his name was Tom Kerstan and he was calling from Publisher's Clearing House and that I should call 1-876-288-0628 to claim my check. Right, I will call 100 years from next Wednesday.
This caller claimed he was from Publishers Clearing House and that I had won a large sum of money. Then he kept saying there were several deliveries to make in the area and what time did I want to meet the prize winning delivery team. Then he asked what time did my bank close on Columbus Day? He said then that we would have to make an appointment for tomorrow and that I could set up the check registry and send them some money. When I said no to this he hung up. PCH should look into this.
same thing happened to us. we called publishers clearing houses ourselves and they said to be very very careful of this as they want you to call back and can rack up random cell charges and who knows what else as well as steal info from you. They told us they would never call someone to tell them they won. Trying not to call back and give him a piece of my mind and what he is doing is illegal and will be reported as i work in law enforcement and want this guy caught
This person worked in a pair, the main caller claimed to be someone named Michael Li. They said I won an iPad mini and asked for my SS# and credit card number. They called multiple times and yea.

This number calls every day around the same time. Also theses ladt 4 digit number 4711,4712,4713,4714..very annoying can't block on Verizon prepaid..so sad
