I have been looking for a job, then this guy calls saying he has a job offer from GE Healthcare and needs my social security number - YEAH, RIGHT! Watch out for these guys. I think they are Middle Easterners with very bad accents. The one that keeps calling me says it's a bad phone line. He's right, because he can't be understood - not the telephone company's fault.
Got a call from this number yesterday. "Sam" claimed to be from some security agency wanting to know if my computer was running slow. Sounded fake to me.
This number called me after he pretended to be a girl on a dating website. She sent pictures and I sent pictures and now threatening to post the pics on Facebook. Scary thing is they knew all my Facebook friends and family
This number has been calling everyday and night all hours. When I answer no one is there, when I called the number back a man speaking in tounges I also heard a train in the background right as I heard a train outside my house! I'm freaking out!
Don't worry, or better yet, don't answer. See if you can block the number, or simply shut down any answering device and let the phone ring. Do not return calls to unknown numbers, it only invites trouble to dinner. You leave them alone and give them no answer of any kind, they can't threaten, scare, or do anything to you. A call blocker may be of some use to you, but letting the phone ring works, too.
